My name is Lucy Byram, I am a 25-year-old professional long course triathlete. I have competed in triathlon and running from the age of 8 when I first joined my local running club Holmfirth Harriers.

I have come through the British Triathlon pathway as part of the Yorkshire Regional Academy racing as a youth, junior and senior in the British Super Series. Racing short course, drafting legal, ITU style triathlon. In the second half of 2021, I made the jump to 70.3 distance racing at the British Triathlon Middle Distance Championships. Where I came away with the National Title and my Professional Licence.

So far, in my first year as a Professional Athlete, I have raced numerous times around the world finishing in the top 10 of every race. In this short amount of time, I have climbed up the T100 Tour Rankings from being an unranked athlete to being inside the top 10 ranked Triathletes in the world.
